September 6 Winners

We are excited to announce that our September 6th Gatesville ISD Educators of the Week are Jordy Haigood and Jeannie Collins. They were honored during Gatesville’s football game with a ceremony on the field. They were each given a trophy and $500.

Jordy Haigood is a teacher at Gatesville Elementary School. One parent had this to say about Mrs. Haigood:

“She not only takes care of her student’s educational needs, but also makes sure they know how much they are loved.”
 
Jeannie Collins is a teacher at Gatesville High School. A former student had this to say about her:
 
“I will never forget the impact she made in my life, and I enjoy continuing seeing her make an impact in the students currently in her classroom.”
