August 29 Winners

We are excited to announce that our August 29th Gatesville ISD Educators of the Week are Si Sheets and McKenna Luensmann. They were honored during Gatesville’s first game of the year with a ceremony on the field. They were each given a trophy and $500. Si is a teacher at Gatesville High School. One parent of a student had this to say about Mr. Sheets: “Although he has a full plate, he never seems to be frazzled. He is calm, kind, patient, and an all-around incredible person!”

Mrs. Luensmann is a teacher at Gatesville Elementary School. One person had this to say about her: “She goes above and beyond to make each student feel special. She uses so many fun and different approaches to make learning the best for each child.”
