Our Beginning
We were founded in 1901 in Mart as The First National Bank of Mart.

1995
New Owners
A group of investors purchase The First National Bank of Mart, a $23 million bank. They soon open a location in Waco and change the name to The First National Bank of Central Texas.
2002
Hillsboro Opens
We purchase a bank in Hillsboro and make it our 3rd Banking Center.
2004
China Spring Opens
The booming community of China Spring needed a hometown bank. We help fill that need by adding our 4th Banking Center there.
2009
Woodway Opens
We open our 5th Banking Center in the rapidly growing Woodway/Hewitt area. This facility eventually becomes the home of the bank’s operations center.
2021
College Station Opens
A new location is added for the first time in over a decade. The bank ads an LPO/DPO facility in College Station.
2023
Hillsboro Opens a New Building
We open up a new Banking Center in Hillsboro. This state-of-the art location is conveniently located just off of I-35.
2024
Gatesville Opens
To much fanfare, a brand new Banking Center opens in the heart of Gatesville.
2026
College Station New Building
We open a large new Banking Center in College Station located on Highway 6.
