September 26 Winners

We are excited to announce that our September 26th Gatesville ISD Educators of the Week are Ashley Swodeck and Kristy Campos. They were honored during Gatesville’s Homecoming game with a ceremony on the field. They were each given a trophy and $500. Ashley is a teacher at Gatesville Elementary School. One parent of a student had this to say about Mrs. Swodeck, “She’s encouraging and positive when things might get a little hard to understand for my kid. And I know that when I drop him off for school, he’ll be loved and cared for every day.” Mrs. Campos is a teacher at Gatesville Intermediate. One person had this to say about her, “She pushed my son to do his best and never accepted work from him if she believed he could do better. Mrs. Campos believes every student is capable of the best and shows them this by building relationships and having high expectations.” Thank you, Mrs. Swodeck and Mrs. Campos for your commitment to the children of Gatesville ISD.
