Building on Values: Employees Craft Updated Principles

The First National Bank of Central Texas is proud to announce a new set of 5 guiding principles. They work together with the bank’s mission:

Excellent service in a friendly environment for the prosperity of our communities.

The new guiding principles are:

A group of 5 employees developed the new principles that replaces the 9 principles the bank used previously. The team that crafted these new principles was made up of:

Jan Coleman (SVP, Waco)
Will Coward (SVP, Gatesville)
Kendra Fowler (Banking Officer, Mart)
Will Pinner (SVP, Hillsboro)
Jacque Mares (Digital Servies Specialist, Woodway)

For two months, this group worked tirelessly to come up with a set of principles that helps define the bank.

“We are fortunate to have very capable employees who are passionate about making sure our principles are concise and clearly articulate who we desire to be,” said Joe Barrow, Chairman and CEO. “This group has done a super job of embodying our value system in the updated principles and they did it in a manner that makes it easy for us to recall them.”
